Potty Time

Well lately Aidan has been telling me "I poop" (poop= pee and/or poop) after he goes potty in his diaper. I was really excited that he was understanding what was happening and was able to tell me BUT I have been waiting and wishing he would tell me beforehand. Normally I try to put him on the potty randomly and he NEVER goes! But yesterday I put him on the potty right way when he woke up in the morning and right when he woke up from his nap and he went potty in the toilet both times!!!! Then.... today we were laying down getting ready for his nap and he said "I poop" so I checked his diaper and it was still dry so I picked him up and ran to the bathroom and put him on the toilet and he peed!!!!! I am so excited he is ready for potty training!!! Gotta get him out of diapers before the new baby comes!!!!

He went to school again today for the second day. He loved it! The teacher says he climbs all over everything and he kept disappearing to the bathroom area to wash his hands lol. At least he has good hygiene! She said that he loves playing with the other kids but is not so big on the sharing.... I guess that is why he is in school though to learn those skills!!!

School

Today was Aidan's first day of "school". He is going to a toddler program that is Tues/Thur for 3 hours a day. They work on everything they learn in Preschool plus potty training! The work on learning ABC's, counting 1-5, shapes, colors, etc. They having circle time, art time, story time, free play time, snack time, outside play... the works! Me and Robert dropped him off and he was fine and ready to go play with his friends! When I went to pick him up he was sitting in the box of legos playing! Crazy kid. The teachers said he did AWSOME and he was great with all the kids he just climbed all over everything though.

Birthday and Baby News

Aidan just had his 2nd Birthday! It was pretty low key we just hung out at home and did cake and gifts just the 3 of us. He got a power wheels car but he can't reach the petal so I had to ride with him. Also... we found out that I am pregnant! I am due August 21 2010!

Also Aidan is starting "school" on the 29th! We went by there today and he loved playing. It is a 2 day a week 3 hrs a day toddler program. They work on potty training, ABC's, counting... everything they work on in preschool. They also do art and all sorts of cool stuff. I am so excited!!!

Home Sweet Home

Well so much has gone on lately! We are finally back in the good old US of A!!! It feels great to be back. We have been in Louisiana since July 31 and we are loving it so far. We are also new home owners! Here is a pic of home sweet home.

America here we come..

Well today was a busy busy day. We shipped our car and our household goods were packed and moved out. We then cleaned out the house and are now living in a hotel for the next four nights before we fly out to Louisiana. We should get cell phones right away so we will get those numbers out and our address as soon as we get them. I have tons of pictures to post too. I swear I will get better and updating this thing as soon as we get settled!!!

Updates

I have been trying to upload pictures from Easter but for some reason it won't let me.... There are some really cute ones too! I will try again another day...

Me and Aidan are getting ready to come back to California for a visit! We are beyond excited! (Well I am, he has no idea what's going on lol). We will be there from May 17-June 18 and we have a pretty busy calendar already! The first weekend we are there is Memorial Day weekend and My mom, Jim, Ryan, Unc, me, and Aidan are going down to San Luis Obispo! It is going to be so much fun!!! Then the next weekend it is up to Sacramento to visit baby Skyleigh (and Ash, Aunty Mona, and Cody)!!! I am so excited to see how big she is now!!! We are going to get get pictures taken of Aidan and Skyleigh too its going to be so cute!!! The next weekend after that is Meagan's baby shower which is going to be so much fun. Then the last weekend is Ryan's Bday and Graduation (the whole reason we are coming to visit) which we be a busy weekend too! I am so excited for everything since my life here is super boring....

Also I am so excited that we will be leaving Italy for good soon! We do not know exactly when still but sometime between the end of July and the beginning of October we will be moving to Louisiana. At first I was so upset that it is Louisiana but I am actually getting really excited.

New Aidan Video

It's been a while

I just realized I have not blogged in a very long time! There has not been too much going on here. The weather has been really nice so we have been able to spend a lot of time outside which is great! Robert just got orders to Fort Polk, Louisiana. At first I was extremely disappointed but slowly I am actually starting to get really excited for the new adventure. Nothing is definite yet since Robert might get stop movement and deploy again but I will keep you updated!
