White Christmas

Our first night out home went very well. It was so amazing to be in my own house with our little family! I had my mind sent on not giving him a pacifier and not having him in our bed but those both went out the window. I really didn't want him to have a pacifier to mess up his breast feeding but he wanted to suck non-stop and acting hungery so I would feed him and then he would throw it up so I figured he just really wanted to suck so I gave in and after that the night went very smoothly.

At first I had Aidan in his bassinet but I really just wanted him with me plus it much easier to have him in the bed already than having to pull myself up to get him out because it KILLS my incision. Im actually doing a lot better than I thought I would for having surgery just a few days ago. It hurts really bad to get in and out of bed or to pull myself to a sitting position but most the time it is tolerable. So at first he started out sleeping in between me and Robert and even then I still had to check a million times to make sure he was still breathing. By the end of the night he ended up sleeping on my chest and that was my favorite.

So we woke up for a 3am feeding and happened to look out the window and it was snowing! I hate snow but for some reason I thought it was just the most amazing thing. Aidan's gets to have a white Christmas for his first!
