Well basically it was a long but amazing day. All through the night I wasn't really feeling well but I didn't really think anything of it. When I got up around 7:00 to go to the bathroom I noticed some fluid. It was such a small amount that I figured it was nothing but called the docter to see what they thought just to be on the safe side. The doctor said to come in so she could check so I woke up Robert and my mom and we headed to the birthing center and sure enough it was amniotic fluid!

I still was only 1 cm dialted and not having contractions so they had to put me on pitocin to induce me so that I would not get an infection. I held out for about 4-5 hours and then it was just to much and I had to get the epidural. Once I had that they cranked up the pitocin to really get things going but after 12 hours I was still stuck at 5 cm and not going anywhere. Since it has been so long since my water had broke the risk for infection was to high and a C-Section was the only option.

So finally that night the preped me for surgery and brought Robert in to sit with me and they went to work. It was only about 10-15 minutes before Aidan was out and crying. That first cry was the cutest and most amazing thing I have ever heard in my life! Robert and Grandma got to spend time with him while they finished up my surgery and then finally Aidan and Mommy got some time!

My time at the birthing center was a really good experience. I was the only one there so I got really attentive nurses and Aidan is such a good baby so I really lucked out. Not that I am biased or anything but Aidan is seriously the cutest baby I have ever seen. It crazy how much you can love someone so much! I don't know what I did without him!

We are finally home today and we are both doing really good. Im still in some pain but its more than worth it. He loves his swing and all the attention he is getting. I will update more soon...
